This week we will decide on the theme for the Instant Exhibit. Teams will each get time to pitch ONE idea for the theme to the full class and then we will decide on the theme. Teams will then meet and begin work!

It was really funny to me that almost all the presentations included the audience in some way. I think this class has its base in dealing with the community, and what better way to address that topic than including the community in the exhibit?
Wish we could have done the food thing but I think it was pretty obvious from the start that it wasn’t going to work. With that tiny amount of space and Dj Spooky thrown in the mix of obstacles I think a cooking class would have been a little tough to do anyway.
I’ve got a great contact for the take the streets with you exhibit! My buddy has been making stencils for a long time and tagging for a while now too. I’ve already talked to him and he’s very interested in the idea. I’ll have his contact info tomorrow. I would also be kinda interested in possibly having some small work in the exhibit. Is this possible?
Lots of possibility and excitment around the show! … is it asking too much to pare it down a little and make it a little more concise without taking away the origianlly intention and integrity of the proposal?
yeah I think that is the intest to have a team work on this idea and refine it to our taste so that it will be possible to achieve.
I think we will be able to agree on one theme and narrow it down to something we can accomplish tomorrow. There are so many different ideas! I’m looking forward to the exhibit more and more now that we are getting the specifics. Hopefully tomorrow will be a success! Happy Halloween!
We had a fun and serious arguments about the show, and it helped us to develop our ideas fot the engaement of show. Now, we got the base idea and we will need find out detailed points and plans for the exhibition.
I guess that the edible show is no longer an option so we will have to really examine the other proposal for feasability. I think that it is important to make sure that we are not going to spread ourselves to thin with the all the different aspects of this show to ensure that it is sucessful as a whole. I really like representing all of the class in the show…. I think we will all make it work.
I’m glad we’ve come up with the theme last class and I hope it goes successfully. Each group should support each other and we will have a great show!
