I got to know more about Chicago by these researches, even though i lived 3 years here, never had a chance to research different places of Chicago.

The presentations brought to light what is available in our own “back yards”, and re-inforced the ideas of examining a space and getting to know a space in ways other than simply walking through.

Missed class last week, but damn! An edible show sounds great! AND having a culinary degree…. I’d want to participate! Can’t wait to talk about it.

I missed class last week as well… but after talking with my group I get the idea that there are going to be a lot of new and different ideas for this exhibit. Looking forward to the project and finally getting started once we choose a theme!

Nick has a cooking degree, eh? I’m a pretty good cook, myself…
Not much to say this week. I’m pretty pumped for this exhibit, though!

I am really excited about all the ideas I’ve heard so far for the instant exhibit and I can’t wait to see what all the groups have to say tomorrow. I really like the idea of some kind exchange or art swap going on.

Word on the street is that an edible show wont work unless it is prepackaged food???? I dunno if that actually puts a damper the whole culinary angle but it could probably be worked around…. The barter aspect of this project sounds cool…. would it be a barter between veiwer and artists or the artists themselves… ?
